Pine Crest distance runners hitting stride

When you think of the Pine Crest girls track team, distance runner Julia Montgomery is probably first athlete that comes to mind.

Just a sophomore, Montgomery is not only the premier long distance runner on the team, but one of the best through out the state.

But she isn't alone.

The Panthers are loaded with a number of young distance runners such as sixth grader Tsion Yared, freshman Katherine Jovanovic and junior Mahlet Yared. That's just a sampling of the depth of young runners.
